Miyagi, May 2 – Formula Hololive Japan travels to Sportsland Sugo this weekend for Round 2 of its qualifier series, the SUGO SP. Across two 125 km Supersprint races, Split A and Split B drivers will battle for precious Tsuyo Cup points—and a shot at Japan’s crown.
In Split A, La+ Darknesss’ Rustim Kurashio arrives with a commanding early lead (330 pts) after a win and a fourth at Fuji. Hot on his heels are Nakiri Ayame’s Hoshizono Ryo (200 pts) and Inugami Korone’s Ozne Wizard (180 pts), each desperate to close the gap on the technical Sugo circuit. With only the top eleven automatically advancing—every corner will carry championship implications.
Meanwhile in Split B, Houshou Marine’s Lorenzo Ricci tops the standings (350 pts) after a perfect Fuji weekend, but all eyes will be on Murasaki Shion’s final ARO appearance. Veteran Kizuhara Leo climbs into the #8 Honda for this swansong outing (272 pts), bidding farewell as the Shion machine enters retirement. Joining them, Otonose Kanade’s Saerin and Juufuutei Raden’s Joey sit within striking distance of the championship lead.
Fans can tune in for both Supersprint encounters live via YouTube and Twitch as Formula Hololive Japan’s quest for Tsuyo Cup glory—and one last tribute to Shion—unfolds beneath Sugo’s mountain winds.
