March 6 2024 - As the ARO Racing calendar marches into March, fans are hyping up this weekend's race in Formula Hololive International at Buriram Circuit, where the title battle is at a climax, and in Hololive GT3 Japan at Fuji Speedway, where the first 20 spots for the Tsuyo Series will be decided this Sunday. With these, fans can expect nothing short of excitement on the weekend.
Buriram Superprix - Formula Hololive International
On March 9th, all eyes will be on the Buriram International Circuit in Thailand for the Buriram Superprix, Round 7 of the 2023-24 Formula Hololive International season. This all-rounder circuit promises adrenaline-pumping action as drivers battle it out for crucial championship points.
With the championship battle heating up, drivers will be pushing themselves and their cars to the limit in pursuit of victory. Jake Martinez, currently leading the standings with 666 points, will aim to extend his lead with another strong performance. However, contenders like Aziz Muazif and Zeke Wimberley will be hot on his heels, eager to close the gap.
Fans can expect fierce wheel-to-wheel action, and maybe nail-biting overtakes for the lead as the drivers navigate Buriram's various corners.
Capture the Moment 500 @ Fuji - Hololive GT3 Japan Series Qualifiers Finale
Meanwhile, on March 10, the Capture the Moment 500 will bring the Hololive GT3 Japan Series Qualifiers to an exciting conclusion at Fuji Speedway in Japan. Tensions will be high as drivers compete for a spot in the coveted Tsuyo Series in the qualifiers' final race.
Drivers will test the limits of their Japanese GT3 machines on the fast and technical Fuji Speedway, setting the stage for the ultimate showdown. A thrilling race with drivers fighting for position is to be expected, with every pass and every turn being important in determining the final standings.
All eyes will be on Rustim Kurashio (#39 La+ Darknesss Nissan), who is leading the qualifiers following an outstanding campaign with him already qualified for the Tsuyo Series on points, as he looks to hold onto the top spot on the standings. The race is far from over, though, as competitors like Tyler Williams (#57 Amane Kanata Nissan) and Airi Nakamura (#81 Akai Haato Honda) are giving it their all to snag Kurashio's place at the top.
Meanwhile the cut-off line in 20th place is still hotly contested, following a great result at Okayama, drivers who were out from the top 20 spots, like Yu-Chae Yon (#61 Takane Lui Nissan), Alex Grant (#63 Yukihana Lamy Honda) and Ed Skye (#16 Kazama Iroha Nissan) have placed themselves in the top 20. In other words they are in the position where they can qualify for the Tsuyo Series, bumping other drivers such as Isekaijin Mikolev (#35 Sakura Miko Honda) dropping to 21st, Johan Sinful (#7 Natsuiro Matsuri Lexus)dropping to 23rd and Michael Turner (#08 Shirogane Noel Lexus) after a DNF at Okayama dropping down to 28th.
This will mean than on both ends of the Tsuyo Series spots in the Qualifiers finale, there is always a battle to look forward to. And come the end of the Qualifiers, fans can wholly expect more great battles in the Hololive GT3 Japan Tsuyo/Zako series starting this June.
