Lombok, January 21, 2024 — The racing fervor is reaching one of its zeniths as the Adak-RMS Organization (ARO) unveils the track map of the challenging Mandalika Street Circuit, setting the stage for two thrilling races in Lombok – the Mandalika Superprix and the highly anticipated Indonesia Grand Prix. Both races are pivotal in the 2023-24 Formula Hololive International season and promise a spectacle for all fans watching, in particular the local fans. Track Challenges and Features:
The Mandalika Street Circuit, set against the backdrop of tropically high temperatures, boasts 17 corners with multiple medium-high-speed sections, posing a significant challenge to the Formula Hololive International drivers. Only Turns 1, 2, 3, 10, 16 and 17 are taken in third gear or lower, with these corners being the only slow-medium speed corners in the circuit. These varieties of corners add a layer of complexity, especially with the potential tire degradation in the scorching conditions.
Top Contenders:
Kaela Kovalskia, represented by Monika Shilage in car #58, emerges as a frontrunner, having secured victory in the Hololive GT3 International Series last year. Shilage is eyeing success in both the Superprix and the Indonesia Grand Prix. Despite the fierce competition, no other ARO driver has clinched a win on the Indonesian circuit.
Championship leader Jake Martinez, steering the #4 Mori Calliope car, dominates the standings with consistent third-place finishes in the initial two rounds. Adjusted to full-time driver classifications, Martinez currently has 325 points, he holds a 17-point lead over Juani Castanto in car #92 for Ouro Kronii. Home Soil Advantage: The ID class cars are poised to shine on their home turf, with drivers aiming to secure victories for their respective oshis at the Mandalika Circuit. Hanaori Miyuki, representing Kobo Kanaeru in the revamped #40 car, is determined to capitalize on her recent success at Phillip Island last round and secure a win for her oshi. These races at Mandalika hold immense significance in the championship race. The driver who claims victory, preferably in the prestigious Indonesia Grand Prix, stands to bolster their chances of clinching the coveted title of the 2023-24 Formula Hololive International season champion. https://x.com/adak_rms/status/1749068039721779607?s=20
