Mugello, June 5 – As the 2024-25 Formula Hololive International season hurtles toward its conclusion with the final split round, Round 11 brings a double-header across two of Europe’s most storied circuits. Saturday’s Mugello SP will see Split A teams tackle the flowing 5.245 km Tuscan layout, before Sunday’s Spielberg SP shifts the action to the Red Bull Ring’s punchy uphill straights and tight esses.
Italian fans can look forward to a special one-off entry this Split A race: Kaminari Riba will don Raora Panthera’s cockpit for the Mugello Supersprint, a homecoming drive that injects local pride into the championship fight. He’ll battle established frontrunners like title contender Joshua Azurid (1,637 pts) for Mori Calliope.
A day later, Split B drivers face the Red Bull Ring’s technical uphill sector and off-camber Turn 3 entry. Kagawa will aim to consolidate his lead, but the ever-resurgent Javier Lusby looms large: second in the standings on 1,802 pts, Lusby’s Split B exploits have kept him in title conversation, and his confidence will be boosted by a string of podiums in recent rounds. Mohd Shazren Redza and Yuri-Rafael de Oliveira (tied on 1,362 pts) must win this round and hope Kagawa, Lusby and Azurid drop points to stay within title contention. Although Split B’s Spielberg race features its own grid, the psychological advantage of home-region success could ripple across classes. With 1,902 pts on the board, Kagawa needs to maintain his blistering high finishes to claim a maiden Formula Hololive crown, the first for EN. Lusby’s 100 pts deficit to his compatriot makes Spielberg a must-win scenario if he’s to realistically keep alive the dream of consecutive ID-class titles. Calliope’s Azurid (1,637 pts) and Hakos Baelz’s Lia Kai (1,358 pts) both require perfect weekends to mount serious challenges, while any misstep by the leaders could open the door for Shazren Redza or de Oliveira to leap into contention. As the sun sets on central Europe, all eyes will be on Mugello’s sweeping corners and Spielberg’s elevation changes, where home heroes and championship hopefuls alike will chase every millisecond—and every point—on the road to the finale.
