Donington, April 18 – The 2024/25 Formula Hololive International season returns for Round 10 with a poignant double-header this weekend—starting Friday at the fast and flowing Donington Park at 13:00 BST, followed by the technical gauntlet of the Nürburgring Sprint course on Sunday at 11:00 CEST. The races mark the final active competition weekends for two beloved Hololive EN talents, Nanashi Mumei and Gawr Gura, both set to graduate in between April 28 and May 1. Their respective drivers, Ethan Berthelsen and Grave Prower, will be gunning to leave nothing on the table as they prepare to race for their oshis one last time as active talents even if one has to beat the other.
For Berthelsen, this final stint behind the wheel of the #21 Owl Car closes a chapter on a memorable, if underdog-driven campaign, where the Mumei’s can sometimes give shock to fans despite the perceived underwhelmingness. While currently sitting 23rd in the championship, Berthelsen’s calm and intelligent driving style makes him a dangerous wildcard, especially on the tricky Nürburgring layout.
Meanwhile, all eyes will be on the ever-electric Grave Prower, piloting the #99 machine for Gawr Gura. The 25th-ranked driver has been a fan favorite throughout the year, not just for his aggressive “Maximum Destruction” driving style, but for his deep passion for his team, despite having results not being on his side. In a pre-race interview, Prower shared:
“Mainly GM Goodwrench and the fans has my back as they follow where I go but the Gawr Gura team is definitely one of the best I’ve been in... I’d return to it if I have the chance.
Prower also had this to say when asked about his targets for his remaining races for Gura:
"Targets I have is sweeping remaining races or at least win one to make sure we send of the season in a high note and think what to do next... All I know I’m ready to do what I do best and that’s creating Maximum Destruction, cause I’m On A Mission.”
Even with emotion hanging in the air, the championship battle is hitting fever pitch. Despite hitting a rough patch in Fuji last February, Ryan Kagawa and Nerissa Ravencroft lead the standings with a staggering 1812 points, their consistency unmatched. But ID’s rising ace Javier Lusby (Vestia Zeta) lurks just behind on 1627 points, ready to capitalize on any misstep. Further back, contenders like Joshua Azurid (Mori Calliope), Lia Kai (Hakos Baelz), and Enzio Ferrari (Raora Panthera) are all within striking distance should chaos ensue across the final rounds.
With high-stakes racing and heartfelt farewells, Round 10 of FHolo INT promises a mix of passion, pressure, and performance that defines this season’s international flavor. Whether it’s Donington’s rollercoaster or Nürburgring’s unforgiving chicanes, fans are in for a weekend to remember.
