Lusby's Reign VS Shazren Redza's Charge @ Road Atlanta As Round 3 Approaches

Hall County, Georgia, 6 September - The 2024-25 Formula Hololive International season rolls into its third round at the iconic Road Atlanta circuit, with the championship battle heating up after a thrilling weekend at Lime Rock Park. Drivers and teams are preparing for another intense showdown as they navigate the fast and challenging 2.54-mile or 4 kilometer track, known for its sweeping corners, dramatic elevation changes, and high-speed straights.

The previous round at Lime Rock Park, dubbed the Breaking Dimensions GP, delivered non-stop action, with two days of intense racing that left fans and competitors alike breathless. The event was marred by a series of crashes and retirements, with only the most resilient drivers surviving in the end of both races.

Race 1 saw Hanaori Miyuki, representing Kobo Kanaeru, continue her impressive form by taking victory after a series of masterful overtakes. Despite qualifying on pole, Bernardo Santiago could only manage fifth place, as the race’s chaotic nature claimed several top contenders, including Zeke Wimberley and Evelyn Kuromi, who were involved in a spectacular collision at Turn 2 on Lap 14.

Race 2 on Day 2 was even more tumultuous, with multiple leaders crashing out in a race of attrition. In the end, it was Javier Lusby, driving for Vestia Zeta, who emerged victorious after starting 11th on the grid. Lusby’s ability to navigate through the carnage and make crucial overtakes secured him his first win of the season, propelling him to the top of the championship standings.

As the series heads to Road Atlanta, several drivers are entering the round with momentum. Javier Lusby’s victory at Lime Rock Park catapulted him to the championship lead with 575 points, making him a driver to watch this weekend. Lusby has shown a mix of skill and composure, thriving in chaotic conditions, and will be looking to extend his lead at Road Atlanta.

Close behind Lusby is Mohd Shazren Redza, representing Koseki Bijou, who has displayed remarkable consistency so far. Despite being involved in a first-lap pileup in Race 2 at Lime Rock, Shazren managed to fight his way to a third-place finish, earning valuable points and securing second place in the championship with 500 points. His resilience and determination make him a strong contender for victory at Road Atlanta.

Zeke Wimberley, despite the crash in Race 1 at Lime Rock Park, remains in third place in the standings with 456 points. The Ceres Fauna-backed driver is known for his speed and will be eager to bounce back and challenge for the win at Road Atlanta, a track that suits his aggressive driving style.

Road Atlanta is a circuit that demands precision and bravery, with its combination of high-speed straights and technical sections. The infamous Turn 12, a downhill right-hander, will test the nerve of every driver as they navigate the circuit at breakneck speeds.

Given the unpredictable nature of the previous rounds, fans can expect another weekend of surprises. The championship battle is still wide open, with several drivers in striking distance of the top spot. Tire management, strategy, and the ability to avoid incidents will be crucial, as the fast-paced nature of Road Atlanta leaves little room for error.

With the championship leaders looking to consolidate their positions and others eager to close the gap, Round 3 at Road Atlanta promises to be another race to look out in the context of this season's title race.
