Laguna Switch Sets Stage for FHolo INT Round 2 Showdown as TakoTori Weekend Gets Underway

Monterey, 28 March — The Formula Hololive International Series qualifiers arrive at the iconic WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca this weekend under unexpected circumstances, as the Adak-RMS Organization (ARO) confirmed a late venue switch from Lih Pao Racing Park.

Originally slated for Taiwan, Round 2 has been relocated due to Lih Pao not being ready in time for full racing operations. The move also strategically aligns the event with the debut concert of TakoTori—Ninomae Ina’nis and Takanashi Kiara—titled “Drawn to Dawn”, taking place at The Wiltern across March 27–28.

After a commanding opening round at Fuji, Grave Prower, representing Mococo Abyssgard in the #52 Formula car, leads the standings with a perfect 200-point haul. His clinical performance has immediately marked him as the driver to beat in the qualification phase.

Close behind is Evelyn Kuromi, racing for Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame in the #53, sitting on 175 points after a consistent and aggressive showing in Round 1.

Third place belongs to Mohd Shazren Redza, representing Koseki Bijou in the #14, who remains firmly in contention with 150 points.

The top five is rounded out by Ayrin for Hakos Baelz (#85) and Haziq Yazid for Shiori Novella (#90), both showing strong pace but needing a breakthrough result to challenge for the lead.

Further down the order, the midfield remains tightly packed. Joddy Pranata, representing Hoshinova Moona (#69), leads the ID contingent in sixth, while Tyler Williams for Ouro Kronii (#92) and Alex Grant for Cecilia Immergreen (#34) continue to build momentum.

Drivers like Sven Jensen (IRyS, #86) and Aziz Muazif (Ayunda Risu, #62) remain within striking distance of the top ten, where crucial qualification points are on offer.

Laguna Seca may prove decisive for those yet to score. Among them are Takeda Adachi, representing Ninomae Ina’nis (#17), and Corey-Rico Mendez for Takanashi Kiara (#50), both arriving under the added spotlight of the TakoTori concert weekend.

Similarly, last season's International championship runner up Joshua Azurid (Mori Calliope, #4) and Tawan Bhumin (Fuwawa Abyssgard, #25), where is represented talent has now recently finished surgery, will be looking to kickstart their campaigns after a difficult opener.

With only limited rounds in the qualification phase, failure to score again could significantly hinder chances of advancing into the World Tsuyo Cup.

The shift to Laguna Seca introduces a vastly different technical challenge compared to Fuji. The narrow layout, dramatic elevation changes, and the legendary Corkscrew demand precision and discipline—qualities that could reshuffle the competitive order.

Track position is expected to be critical, with limited overtaking opportunities placing extra emphasis on qualifying performance and racecraft under pressure.

With ARO deliberately aligning the round alongside Drawn to Dawn, the event now represents a coordinated celebration of Hololive’s expanding cultural footprint—where music, performance, and motorsport intersect.

For drivers representing Ina and Kiara in particular, the stakes extend beyond points, as fan attention peaks across both stages. As engines are set to fire in California, Round 2 of the Formula Hololive International qualifiers promises competition and a defining moment in the early 2026 season, where it may decide the Tsuyo contenders.
