Color Rise Harmony GP @ Fuji Ignites New Season Opener for Formula Hololive Japan

Fuji, Shizuoka – February 21, 2025 –The new era of Formula Hololive Japan is set to begin at Fuji Speedway with the highly anticipated "Color Rise Harmony GP @ Fuji" Round 1 Qualifiers. As the season opener, this event marks the inaugural showdown of a season defined by a revised format that promises shorter, high-intensity races over a set distance of 153 km for GP events. All teams in the JP and DEV classes will run on the state-of-the-art Dallara SF19, battling it out on a grid limited to just 22 drivers.

Due to new drivers in the series, the qualifiers will determine the top 10 finishers—and the best 11th-placed driver in both splits—who will secure a coveted spot in the Tsuyo Cup, while the remaining competitors will compete in the Zako Series. This opening split sets the stage for a season of intense rivalries and strategic masterclasses, with every position on the grid carrying championship implications.

In Split A in Saturday, the field is stacked with some of the most iconic Hololive talents, ready to lay the groundwork for their championship campaigns. With drivers like Oozora Subaru's Rim Elgore and Mohd Shaqif Redza for Momosuzu Nene among the frontrunners, every lap will be a testament to speed and precision.

Meanwhile, Split B on Sunday promises a parallel battle filled with fierce competition and tactical racing. With standout names such as Aki Rosenthal’s Vladislav Domaschnev, Amane Kanata’s Tyler Williams, and Hiodoshi Ao’s Jake Martinez lining up alongside other formidable title contenders, this segment is poised to deliver high-speed drama from the start.

Split B sees all the DEV class cars racing in this split, including new and returning faces. Representing the new generation FlowGlow, 2 new and 3 returning drivers are set to make their debuts and returns. In the Koganei Niko #29, Thailand is now finally represented in a driver's capacity, as Tawan Bhumin makes his debut. Journeyman Rudy makes a return in the #45 Mizumiya Su machine after stints representing Anya Melfissa. He and Bhumin will be joined by another new entrant in Allie Jay, driving the #51 Kikirara Vivi.

Two established names are also set to return representing FlowGlow members after times on the sidelines following their previous teams' end of services following graduations from their represented members. Ri Liu moves from one gray haired girl to another as he now is set to represent Isaki Riona in car #68. Dag Patterson is also set to return to represent a car centric Rindo Chihaya in car #78.

As the new season unfolds during the second week of the ARO Hololive Month of Racing, the intensity at Fuji Speedway is already reaching fever pitch.
