Angela Sims, Formula Hololive International Racer, Passes Away at 24

15 June - The racing community mourns the loss of Angela Sims, a prominent figure in the 2023-24 Formula Hololive International series. Sims passed away on 11 June 2024 at the age of 24, leaving behind a legacy of passion and determination in the face of personal struggles.

Angela Sims showcased her talent in the 2023-24 Formula Hololive International series, achieving notable results despite never securing a win. She earned two podium finishes and six top-10 placements. One of her most remarkable performances was a top-5 finish in the 2024 Capture the Moment GP at Fuji. Sims also demonstrated her speed with pole positions at the Phillip Island GP and the Buriram SP. Her best race finishes included second place at both the Sepang SP and the Spielberg GP. She was on the verge of victory at the Buriram SP, one of the best cars in that race, before a crash dashed her hopes.

Beyond her racing accomplishments, Angela Sims was an active and beloved member of the Adak-RMS Organization (ARO). Despite her troubled life, she remained a positive presence within the racing community. Efforts were made to support her through her challenges, but sadly, they were not enough to prevent her untimely passing.

As a hard-fought racer who gave it all until the end, let's celebrate her life and the impact she had on those around her. Her spirit and dedication to racing will never be forgotten.
