Kronii and Irys Fulfill A Promise

Spielberg/Towcester, 4 May 2025 - A vow has been fulfilled as the two members of Promise FH who has yet to secure a win in their entire Formula Holo career and make it back to back wins for Promise Formula Holo, dedicating both for their departing member Mumei Nanashi and her #50.

Irys took the win at Spielberg in an attritional race that saw many fall ill at Turn 3, even polesitter Anya Melfissa of RoyalTea Motorsport. Trouble started too soon for both Laplus Darkness of X Seis and Kaela Kovalskia of H3 Motorsport, as both suffer a misfire at the very start of the Holo Prix. The nephilim had to overcome a fantastic blooper at turn 1 on Lap 6 of 29 in the Austrian Holo Prix. The dreaded pit glitch unfortunately makes its return, claiming a good chunk of the racers which unfortunately includes all 3 departing members: Shion Murasaki of Aku-Ken Exodia, Mumei Nanashi of Promise FH, and Gura Gawr of Myth-Watson. Japanese Holo Prix winner Rindo Chihaya had not one, but two horrific shunts in the race, one in the opening lap against Sora Tokino's #02 and again in lap 11 against Okayu Nekomata's #19. Meanwhile, Myth's woes continue in the face of their most popular contestant in Gura, with Takanashi Kiara failing to qualify for the Holo Prix and the others being in the glitch's grasp. By Lap 14, less than half the racers are left active on track, with most being claimed by the pitlane glitch. Victory seemed certain for the erstwhile points leader Iofifteen Airani until tragedy struck in lap 24 where her #32 machine beached at turn 4. She eventually recovered to a decent 5th. Irys' win is a dramatic one, being the one lone EN to survive both the turn 3 trap and the dread pitlane glitch. Beloved racers Pekora Usada and Sora Tokino accompany the nephilim on the podium, occupying 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Round 8 dawned on the Towcester circuit with qualifying cutting short the three departing members' career permanently. Luna Himemori secured pole for the ailing Force Ubersheep team followed by Suisei's return in 2nd and both parts of DeathStar right behind, Death aka Calliope Mori in 3rd and Star aka in 4th. Luna however will not have the lead long. Tragedy struck in Lap 7 while trying to lap the #62 machine of Nerissa Ravencroft, her pastel machine tumbling over the Advent Motorsport driver's predominantly white and blue car with gold trim. Suisei then claims the lead from the fallen princess after Calli tangles also with Nerissa earlier in the race. Lap 8 saw another worrying addition to the trend of cars tumbling and flipping all over the place as Moona Hoshinova's lilac machine tumbles over at a tricky section of Silverstone. Lap 11 saw Suisei's lead die a horrible death as she fell ill of The Loop's sausage kerbs while navigating around the lapped cars of previous race winner Irys and hometown hero/Justice Racing Team's leader Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame. Anya Melfissa and her #44 promptly took over the reins of the Holo Prix. The eventual winner Kronii Ouro benefitted from Anya's dramatic incidents as her brown machine flipped over and glitched below the digital pavement at Lap 19. This also comes after Kronii had to fend off an over-eager Roboco who found the wall past Club in the preceeding lap. Kronii burst into tears crossing the line as her pitwall confirmed the win, long awaited ever since she along the former Council Racing Team debuted in Season 4 of the Armarolli era. Kronii and her Kronies were all emotional as they Canadian anthem sounded over the podium. Rakugo entuhsiast Raden Juufuutei comes home 2nd after a scrappy race and Zeta Vestia claims 3rd for H3 Motorsport.

Both Drivers' and Constructors' see considerable shifts. For Drivers', Hajime Todoroki of Regloss Motorsport takes over the lead after Iofi fails to make the qualifying cut at Silverstone. Choco Yuzuki then drops to 3rd followed by Pekora and Zeta, in that order.

(Be forewarned, not for the faint of heart if you're a Shiokko, Hooman or Chumbud.)

Onto the Constructors' side of things, Usaken Fantasia gets dethroned after a mediocre showing at both Red Bull Ring and Silverstone, with only a 2nd at the former for the titular member Pekora and the rest of the squad failing to qualify for both races. Regloss has now took the reins of the title race at 682 poins. In third is the emotional Promise FH squad coming off back-to-back wins on the last race for their teammate Mumei Nanashi, who previously was their highest points-scorer. Scuderia Genesi sees a loss and tumbles down to 4th, with Suisei's qualifying streak broken and Sora's 2nd at Red Bull Ring not proving enough to maintain their position. Rounding out the top 5 is Aku-Ken Exodia who also have mediocre showings between its remaining 3 members no thanks to the pitlane glitch.
