Enter, Izuru!

Barcelona, April 2 - The boys make their way into the Iberian racetrack for Round 3 of Stars Touring Car Championships. The race sees Altare Regis' back-to-back win streak get broken by no less than his closest championship rival Izuru Kanade of Star Garden, the league's first registered team. Securing a lights-to-flag finish, Izuru creeps ever closer to Altare's lead. Sun-Mafia's Temma Kishido did not let Izuru rest on his laurels all throughout the 12-lap affair. Temma provided challenge every step of the way. Altare at one point had a chance to continue his streak but it evaporated in the latter stages of the race. Star Garden's leader Miyabi Hanasaki was also for a while in contention for the lead but also fell away with Regis and settled for 4th.

Barcelona sees Axel's best result yet, landing 7th which contributes greatly to Tempus' tally. Armis' woes continues as this time, Jurard T Rexford was unable to guide his #26 machine to secure more points, languishing in a paltry 18th. The reigning champion Shinri Josuiji's woes did not end in this race too as he languished barely outside the points in 16th, beaten out by new cellar dweller Ruze Crimson of Armis Racing; who had just secured his first point in the championship. With Ruze securing his first point, all current entrants have now scored at least one point in just the 3rd race out of 10.

Calamity befell three racers at separate points. Rikka from Star Garden and Hakka Banzoin of Tempus Motorsport had a coming together at Turn 1 in the 5th lap of the race. The Exorcist did not want to yield to the Rikkaroid, and with the latter forcing the issue, he came off worse for it. Hakka would then be caught in another kerfuffle come Lap 7, this time against Armis' Octavio. This time however, Sun-Mafia's Oga Aragami unconciously plowed his #13 machine into Hakka's #24 which then careened into Octavio's #28. Tha would be the last incident for the race, but various battles up and down the grid raged on till the flag fell.

Save a few shifts here and there, both the drivers' and constructors' standings remain as they are, with the most notable development being the rise of Izuru as a viable challenger to Regis' title claim.
