Altare Takes Emphatic Control In STCC's Melbourne 2025 Opener

Melbourne, 27 January - Tempus Motorsport makes quite the splash Down Under as guild leader Altare Regis takes the season opener at the street circuit. With a lights-to-flag run, Regis was relentless with his defense of the lead, fending off JP veterans Astel Leda of Sun-Mafia and Izuru Kanade of Star Garden. Next best for Tempus Motorsport was Bettel Gavis, who managed to beat out Sun-Mafia member Oga Aragami for 5th.

Hometown rep Axel Syrios had a meh race however, finishing where he started, at 14th. Armis Racing's lead racer Jurard T Rexford made a surge from 13th to 9th, securing himself firmly in the points. The rest of his crew did not have such luck, with 16th from Octavio, 21st for Goldbullet and Ruze finishing dead last. Uproar also did not have a good start to their second season at STCC. Rio in his #17 car managed the only points finish for the 3-man squad, in 11th.

The top 5 going into round are as follows:

1. Altare Regis(Tempus): 42 pts

2. Astel Leda(Sun-Mafia): 32 pts

3. Izuru Kanade(Star Garden): 28 pts

4. Rikka(Star Garden): 24 pts

5. Bettel Gavis(Tempus): 21 pts

STCC would be resuming battle late February, with the destination subject to change. It is highly speculated that they will reprise their slot as front act for their sister series, the Formula Holo World Championships.
